Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Aaron Ramsey may not be fit enough for the upcoming games against Ostersund and Manchester City. The Wales international picked up a groin problem prior to the derby defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, and this ruled him out of the Europa League last 32 first-leg, where the Gunners beat Ostersund by a 3-0 scoreline.
Ramsey notched his maiden professional hat-trick during the 5-1 triumph over Everton earlier in the month, but luck has since not favoured the Welshman, who has a history of sustaining minor niggles over the course of his Gunners career.
Unlike the Citizens, the Gunners have a midweek Europa League tie prior to the Cup final on Sunday, and this may hamper the fitness of a few players, with Wenger asserting that he would make minimal changes to his squad for the return leg at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal are already out of the reckoning for the FA Cup after a surprise third round exit at the hands of Nottingham Forest, and the League Cup probably remains their best opportunity to claim silverware, though they are up against a Pep Guardiola side who have barely put a foot wrong this term.
