Welsh international Aaron Ramsey has hit back at the criticism levelled at him for the poor performances in recent weeks.

The midfielder was a sensational hit in the first half of last season. Even though he missed a major chunk of the second half due to injury, he still finished the season with 10 league goals. This was highly crucial in Arsenal managing a top four finish yet again. This time around, things had to be very difficult for the 23-year-old. He has managed only two league goals, which has seen Arsenal drop outside of the top four in the early months of the campaign.

Ramsey Wants Captaincy

Ramsey was once regarded as the best in Welsh football, but the horrific leg break that he suffered in 2010 appeared to have changed his career for the worse.

Ferguson Criticized By Saha

Sir Alex Ferguson has been criticized by Louis Saha for letting Paul Pogba go to Juventus before the start of the 2011-12 Season.

Pogba, the French midfielder, has proved to be a great asset for Juventus in the last couple of seasons. He has struck 12 times in 63 league appearances for the Italian club.

Pogba had not been getting starting opportunities on a regular basis at Old Trafford and that’s why, he opted for an away move in 2012. Despite him being so young and so talented, Sir Alex didn’t make any attempt to make him stay.

Since then, they have suffered several defeats in the last stages of competitions and this also includes the 2006 Champions League final as well. Ramsey’s return to the team after a spell on the sidelines has coincided with an improvement in form.
