RAMSEY SET FOR RETURN

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that midfielder Aaron Ramsey is set to return to the starting line-up for the first time in four months, as the midfielder has recovered sufficiently and has been at close to full fitness in the last few days.

Ramsey has been a major missed for Arsenal, as he has watched from the sidelines the season crumbling in front of him. Back in December when Ramsey was at the heart of everything good done by Arsenal, the club was top of the league and were into the Champions League last 16 stage.

RAMSEY SIGNS UP

Arsenal have been boosted by the news that midfielder Aaron Ramsey has decided to extend his stay at the club by signing a new contract. The length of the contract has not been revealed, but Ramsey will be a Gooner for a long while now. The former Cardiff City player has not been at his best in the last few years – especially since suffering the fractured leg while playing against Stoke City. However, the first half of the season saw the best of the Welshman, as he dominated Arsenal’s midfield with numerous goals.

RAMSEY PLAYS

The Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey has not played a match with Arsenal since December when he sustained an injury that has left him out of Arsenal’s latest 12 matches including fixtures not only of the Premier League but also from the Champions League and the FA Cup which is a big hit for Arsene Wenger as Ramsey was one of the standout performers for Arsenal during the 1st half of the season.

READY AGAIN

Aaron Ramsey’s thigh injury has healed up now and he might be taking part in Arsenal’s next league match against Fulham which will be played this weekend at the Emirates stadium.

Ramsey had suffered this injury while playing in the match against West Ham United towards the end of the last month. It looked a serious damage initially, but, luckily, for the Gunners, it was just a strain and the midfielder recovered in about 3 weeks’ time.

BACK WHERE IT STARTED

Aaron Ramsey will be making the return to Cardiff city to take on his former club where he started his career. He is one of the important players at Arsenal now, but it was certainly not the case in 2008 when he made the £ 5 million move to the Emirates stadium.

The leg injury that he suffered in 2010 also appeared to bring an end to his career at a very early stage. However, he has made a stunning recovery and this season he has been quite brilliant.

WENGER LAUDS RAMSEY

Arsene Wenger has lauded Aaron Ramsey for his impressive show in Arsenal’s previous Premier League game against Cardiff City.

Ramsey found the net a couple of times in that game against Cardiff and helped Arsenal win by 3-0. With that win, the Gunners went 7 points ahead of Liverpool which is the second positioned team in the Premier League points table.
Ramsey had made his way to the Emirates Stadium in 2008. He was rated very highly when he arrived, but, he couldn’t deliver that much. The fans lost the faith in him and they even booed him in some of the games last year. But, in the ongoing season, the Welshman is looking a completely different player. He has already had 13 in his goals’ tally and we are still in the first half of the season.

DE ROSSI REJECTED ARSENAL

Daniele De Rossi has said that he doesn’t regret his decision of rejecting the offers of other clubs during the pre-season transfer window.

De Rossi had got quite a few offers this summer. One of them was reported to have come from Arsenal, but, the 30 years old defensive midfielder didn’t accept any of those offers and decided to continue playing for Roma which he has been a part of since his teenage.

RAMSEY IS HOPEFUL

The Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is pretty hopeful about the chances of his team in the upcoming couple of Champions League fixtures against the last season’s finalists Borussia Dortmund.

Arsenal is currently at the top of the Group F points table. They have won both the games that they have played so far. First, they secured a 2-1 win in an away game against Marseille and then, they beat Napoli by 2-0 at home last Tuesday.

Now, the Gunners have to face Dortmund twice. The first one will be a home game for them and it will take place on 22nd of October, while, the second one will be played at Signal-Iduna-Park on November 6.

RAMSEY HAILS WENGER

Aaron Ramsey has hailed Arsene Wenger for doing a brilliant job as Arsenal manager over the years. Arsene Wenger has been in charge of Arsenal since the last 17 years. He had taken over from Bruce Rioch in August 1996.

Under Wenger’s guidance, Arsenal performed quite well in the last season. Although, their search for Silverware didn’t come to an end but, they finished the league at a respectable position of no. 4.

Arsenal had a terrible start to the season and they were not looking like finishing in top 4 at one point of time. But, the Gunners bounced back in a grand fashion in the second half of the season and surprised everyone by beating Tottenham in the race of Champions League qualification.

Betting tips on Liverpool next season

Next season is a big one for Liverpool and their manager Brendan Rodgers, as the club look set to invest heavily in the squad during the summer, which suggests that they will be expecting to mount a serious bid to get back into the Champions League places. Of course, what Liverpool fans really crave is the league itself, and Liverpool’s odds for that are not as long as might be expected. Perhaps due to the upheaval at clubs like Manchester United, as their own performances last season, you can get bookies odds of 33/1 on them for next season’s Premier League title.
