Paulo Dybala bags MVP award in Serie A for 2019-2020 season

Argentina player Paulo Dybala has bagged Serie A player of the year award beating off his fellow teammate Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portugueseplayer won the award on his debut campaign but he failed to retain the award in this year. The Italian league names Dybala as the most valuable player while Juventus new playerDejan Kulusevski was named as the Young player of the yearas he had been at Parma in loan.

Juventus goalkeeperWojciech Szczesny won the award for the goalkeeperwhile Inter Milan’s Stefan De Vrij, Atalanta star Papu Gomez, and Lazio player Ciro Immobile won the defensive, midfield and forward awards respectively.
Dybala has appeared in 33 games for the club and he has scored 11 goals in this season with 11 assists. The player with the arrival of Portugal star player Cristiano Ronaldo in the team has found it difficult to create space in the field. But with the arrival of Maurizio Sarri as the head coach, he has become better in the field having created his own space to play.

With the performance of the player, the club was able to secure their ninth successive title. They finished off the first season with one point ahead of Inter Milan, who surpassed Lazio and Atalanta. Ronaldo could have won the best forward but he was five points behind Lazio player Immobile who secured that title.
With Ronaldo’s arrival at the club in 2018, there have been many questions asked whether both the player could compact with each other on the club. Sarri has confirmed that both the players have learned to play with each other and this can be seen from the match against Genoa on June 30. They have been looking out for each other andSarri has noticed this in the field as well as in training grounds.
