The Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has revealed that he is ready to become a much better player and is already working on a lot of aspects in training. The Welsh midfielder is regarded as one of the best prospects at the club, but since suffering the leg break a few seasons ago, he has never been the same. The 21-year-old has been on the fringes of first-team since then, but the departure of players like Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas has helped him regain his first-team position in recent months. However, he is still not back at the level people used to see him play for Arsenal.
After signing a new five-year contract with the club, the player has revealed that he expects more improvement from his plays over the coming months. Ramsey was not the only player to sign a new deal with Arsenal. He was joined by four other players, who have also committed to long-term contracts with the Premier League outfit. Ramsey has expressed his shock at having represented herself 44 times since the horrific leg break suffered in the match against Stoke City almost 2 years ago. Ramsey has said that he is close to completing his first full season as a professional player, which he has never done before.
"At the beginning, I was really excited to have an opportunity to have a full season and to be involved in everything. I played 44 times and that was quite a shock to the system at the time, having been out for so long. I haven't had a full season before in my professional career so it was a shock and definitely took its toll towards the end. Hopefully this one will be different and the form towards the end of the season will be better. I'll be more used to dealing with that," said Ramsey.
