RAMSEY HAILS WENGER

Aaron Ramsey has hailed Arsene Wenger for doing a brilliant job as Arsenal manager over the years. Arsene Wenger has been in charge of Arsenal since the last 17 years. He had taken over from Bruce Rioch in August 1996.

Under Wenger’s guidance, Arsenal performed quite well in the last season. Although, their search for Silverware didn’t come to an end but, they finished the league at a respectable position of no. 4.

Arsenal had a terrible start to the season and they were not looking like finishing in top 4 at one point of time. But, the Gunners bounced back in a grand fashion in the second half of the season and surprised everyone by beating Tottenham in the race of Champions League qualification.

In one of his recent interviews when Ramsey was asked how good Arsene Wenger is as a manager, he said, “He is simply awesome. He motivates the whole unit and always backs the players. We are lucky to have him as manager.”
“The most impressive thing about Arsene Wenger is that he keeps the environment positive all the time.”

Ramsey looked in good form for Arsenal in the last season. He netted quite a few times. When asked about that, Ramsey said, “It was great to be back in top nick. You feel hugely satisfied when you contribute for the team. I had worked hard on weak points of my game before the start of the season and that paid off.”

When asked how he felt when he was loaned to his boyhood club Cardiff City a couple of years back in 2011, Ramsey said, “It was wonderful to return to the place where I learnt my football. I enjoyed my brief stay there. I was glad to see how much they had progressed.”
