Aaron Ramsey hits back to Criticizers

Welsh international Aaron Ramsey has hit back at the criticism levelled at him for the poor performances in recent weeks.

The midfielder was a sensational hit in the first half of last season. Even though he missed a major chunk of the second half due to injury, he still finished the season with 10 league goals. This was highly crucial in Arsenal managing a top four finish yet again. This time around, things had to be very difficult for the 23-year-old. He has managed only two league goals, which has seen Arsenal drop outside of the top four in the early months of the campaign.

The start of the season of Arsenal has not been as exciting or thrilling as supporters of the club were expecting it to be as you have to take into consideration that the summer transfer window of Arsenal saw them signing Danny Welbeck, Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy just to name a few of the more recognizable players that made their way to the Emirates Stadium in the previous transfer window.

Ramsey Wants Captaincy

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has publicly stated that he wants the captaincy at the club. The Wales international enjoyed his best season at Arsenal by scoring more than 15 league goals last season. His importance to the team was demonstrated especially in the second half, as Arsenal struggled to replicate his goals from other players. Ramsey was once regarded as the best in Welsh football, but the horrific leg break that he suffered in 2010 appeared to have changed his career for the worse.

Ferguson Criticized By Saha

Sir Alex Ferguson has been criticized by Louis Saha for letting Paul Pogba go to Juventus before the start of the 2011-12 Season.

Pogba, the French midfielder, has proved to be a great asset for Juventus in the last couple of seasons. He has struck 12 times in 63 league appearances for the Italian club.

Pogba had not been getting starting opportunities on a regular basis at Old Trafford and that’s why, he opted for an away move in 2012. Despite him being so young and so talented, Sir Alex didn’t make any attempt to make him stay.

Bayern, Barcelona chasing Aaron Ramsey

Barcelona is still monitoring the situation of Aaron Ramsey despite Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insisting his star Welshman is not for sale at any price.

Ramsey was a revelation for the North London giants last season where he finished as the club’s player of the season and also helped the Gunners end their eight year trophy drought by helping them to the FA Cup with the winning goal in extra time.

Ramsey Aiming For FA Cup Win

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has stated that he wants to win the FA Cup this year and end the incredible trophy drought that has haunted the club for the last nine years. Arsenal will be taking on Hull city in the FA Cup final on Sunday looking to lift the trophy, which was also the last major title in 2005. Since then, they have suffered several defeats in the last stages of competitions and this also includes the 2006 Champions League final as well. Ramsey’s return to the team after a spell on the sidelines has coincided with an improvement in form.

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that midfielder Aaron Ramsey is set to return to the starting line-up for the first time in four months, as the midfielder has recovered sufficiently and has been at close to full fitness in the last few days.

Ramsey has been a major missed for Arsenal, as he has watched from the sidelines the season crumbling in front of him. Back in December when Ramsey was at the heart of everything good done by Arsenal, the club was top of the league and were into the Champions League last 16 stage.

Arsenal have been boosted by the news that midfielder Aaron Ramsey has decided to extend his stay at the club by signing a new contract. The length of the contract has not been revealed, but Ramsey will be a Gooner for a long while now. The former Cardiff City player has not been at his best in the last few years – especially since suffering the fractured leg while playing against Stoke City. However, the first half of the season saw the best of the Welshman, as he dominated Arsenal’s midfield with numerous goals.

The Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey has not played a match with Arsenal since December when he sustained an injury that has left him out of Arsenal’s latest 12 matches including fixtures not only of the Premier League but also from the Champions League and the FA Cup which is a big hit for Arsene Wenger as Ramsey was one of the standout performers for Arsenal during the 1st half of the season.

Aaron Ramsey’s thigh injury has healed up now and he might be taking part in Arsenal’s next league match against Fulham which will be played this weekend at the Emirates stadium.

Ramsey had suffered this injury while playing in the match against West Ham United towards the end of the last month. It looked a serious damage initially, but, luckily, for the Gunners, it was just a strain and the midfielder recovered in about 3 weeks’ time.
